How ClubMarket SG works, what a club transfer involves, and what to check before you commit.
What ClubMarket SG is, and what it isn't.
ClubMarket SG is an independent marketplace where people list private club memberships for sale in Singapore and interested buyers can find them. We give both sides a single place to compare what is available, see asking prices and transfer costs, and start a conversation.
No. ClubMarket SG is completely independent and has no affiliation, partnership, or endorsement from any club. Club names and details are shown for identification only, so buyers know what is being offered.
No. We do not facilitate transfers, act as a broker or agent, or handle payment, escrow, or deposits. Once a buyer and seller agree on terms, they complete the transfer directly with the club and settle payment between themselves.
Each club sets its own transfer process. Typically the seller nominates a buyer, the club reviews the application, and the membership is transferred once approved. ClubMarket SG helps buyers and sellers connect and agree on terms — the official transfer is completed directly with the club.
Browsing listings, creating an account, and contacting sellers are free. We do not take a commission on any sale. Any fees charged by the club itself, such as transfer or entrance fees, are separate and paid directly to the club.
Finding a membership and getting in touch with a seller.
Start from the Clubs page to browse by club, or use the Listings page to see everything currently for sale. You can filter by club, membership type, and price to narrow things down, and each listing shows the asking price alongside the transfer costs the seller has told us about.
Open a listing and use the contact or offer button. That starts a private conversation in your Messages inbox, where you and the seller can discuss details and agree on terms. You will need an account so we can notify you when the seller replies.
Yes. Asking prices are set by sellers and are usually negotiable. Sending an offer opens a conversation with the seller, who can accept, decline, or come back with a counter-offer.
Mark a membership as an interest from the club or membership page. When a new listing appears for that membership, we email you a link to it so you do not have to keep checking back.
Contact the club directly to confirm the membership is transferable, that the seller's account is in good standing, and what the current transfer fee, entrance fee, and eligibility rules are. Get the club's confirmation in writing before you pay anything.
Listing your membership and dealing with enquiries.
Create an account, then use the Sell page. You will pick the club and membership type, set your asking price, and add any details buyers should know — including the transfer costs you are aware of. Listings are reviewed before they go live.
New listings are reviewed before appearing publicly so we can catch obvious errors and duplicates. This usually takes a short while. If your listing has been pending for an unusually long time, get in touch and we will take a look.
Yes. Go to your Dashboard to update the price and details of any listing, or remove it once your membership is sold or you no longer want to sell.
Look at what comparable memberships at the same club are currently listed for, and factor in the transfer and entrance fees the buyer will also have to pay. Listings that are transparent about total cost tend to attract more serious enquiries.
What it actually costs and how long it takes.
Beyond the agreed sale price, most clubs charge a transfer fee, and some require the incoming member to pay an entrance or admin fee. We encourage listing these costs upfront so both sides know the full picture before committing.
It varies by club, but most transfers take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months once both parties agree, depending on the club's approval committee and paperwork requirements.
That is between the buyer and the seller. Some clubs specify who is responsible, but where they do not, it is a matter of negotiation. Agree on who pays what in writing before you proceed, so there are no surprises at the end.
Yes. Most clubs have an approval committee and can decline an incoming member. Approval is entirely the club's decision and nothing on ClubMarket SG guarantees it. Do not treat a deal as done until the club has confirmed the transfer.
Keeping your details and your money safe.
We review listings before they go live and remove ones that look inaccurate or misleading, but we cannot independently verify every membership or every seller. Always confirm the details directly with the club before you commit.
Public listings and profiles show a partially masked name rather than your full one, and your email and phone number are never displayed publicly. Other users only see what you choose to share with them in a conversation.
Keep conversations on the platform, never pay a deposit before the club has confirmed the membership is transferable and in good standing, and be wary of anyone pressuring you to move quickly or pay off-platform. If a listing or a message looks wrong, report it to us.
Send us the listing link and a short description of the problem through the contact form and we will investigate. We remove listings that break our terms.
